An Update

So my blog has been updated to match my portfolio site, artofjanetdabu.com if you want to check it out. It's been so long and I haven't put anything on here in forever, but here's a skeleton of a seahorse for you!

I drew it from a book called Skulls: An Exploration of Alan Dudley's Curious Collection by Simon Winchester with photography by Nick Mann.When I realized that I was never going to finish it I figured, "Well, if I don't scan it in now I'll never put it up!" So here it is.

These are drawings of Enoc Castaneda from a book called Facial Expressions: A Visual Reference for Artists by Mark Simon.

Miss Rosamond Crocker

This is a drawing of a painting on one of my books, a portrait of Miss Rosamond Crocker by Sir Thomas Lawrence (1827). The hand was drawn separately and Photoshopped in (because hands are a beast). Colored pencil on toned paper.
